Ass Licking

There was a lot of ass licking going on in that company. If you didn't kiss up to your boss, you were staying at your low level shit job until they rolled you out on a gurney. Everyone did it and nobody was immune. Men and women played the game the best they could to get ahead. Without a little ass licking and butt kissing with the execs one was bound for tedious low-paying monotony. It was as if you were thrown a doggy bone and told to lay down in the corner.

If there was anybody at the company that exemplified the fine art of ass licking to a tee, it was Jeremiah Newbee. Jeremiah would say anything about anybody at anytime to get what he wanted. If his boss asked him to fire ten people in order to get a promotion, he'd have no qualms about doing so. If the boss asked him to fetch some coffee, pay for lunch or mend his slacks, Jeremiah would do it all with a smile. He was the biggest ass licking employee the company had ever known.
